Shows On Netflix You Probably Scroll Past But You Totally Need To Watch
Andrew Parker - October 27, 2019

There are tons of shows on Netflix to choose from. A lot of the time we go directly to the hits we’ve heard our friends talking about. But what do you do when you’ve binge-watched your way through literally everything? Here are some shows you should totally watch that you definitely just scroll right past.

Feel like some superhero drama? Then you have to check out The Umbrella Academy. It’s about an eccentric billionaire who adopted seven children born under crazy circumstances. He raised them basically to be a superhero team prepared to save the world. After their father’s death, the siblings find themselves facing the threat he always warned them about: the end of the world. Fun fact: My Chemic Romance frontman Gerard Way co-created the comic book which the show is based on and is also an EP on the show. Pretty cool!

Want just straight-up drama? Then give Pose a try. It’s a dance musical about ball culture in 1980s New York. It follows Blanca Rodriguez who creates a house for LGBTQ youth who were disowned by their own family. It was nominated for Best Drama Series at the Emmy’s, so that points out how good the show is, right?

Love reality tv but are a little tired of Keeping Up With The Kardashians Then you should watch Terrace House. It’s about six strangers who live together in a house, go on dates, fall in love, etc. It’s like The Real World, except it’s in Japan and is less dramatic. The show has six commentators who react to what’s happening in the house. It’s interesting because it shows how different reality television is in other countries.

So go get binging!
