The “Don’t Call Me Angel” Music Video Is Everything

Elizabeth Bank’s new Charlie’s Angels movie is set to come out only in November, but the hype is already very real thanks to three literal angels. Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Lana Del Rey did a collaboration on the theme song “Don’t Call Me Angel.” Grande, Cyrus, and Del Rey channel the iconic Charlie’s Angels with some cool spy games. Each artist gets her own time to shine as the video highlights her own individuality. But the three megastars are also united in showing their strength and making sure no one gets it wrong: they are no angels.

When the Charlie’s Angels trailer with Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska dropped, everyone was already pretty much pumped. And then when we all found out Grande, Cyrus and Del Rey were working on a collab- the internet freaked its freak. The full song and music video did not disappoint. The three powerhouses served some seriously gorgeous detective-vibes for the Townsend Agency. Grande leads the chorus and sings the second verse while Cyrus leads the first verse and Del Rey takes the bridge. All the women rock their signature style, plus some gorgeous angel wings. Their vocals also stay relatively individual, too. So even though they’re all singing together you still get their own unique voice.
